At the Title enter a meaningful title, so that your friends know what trip it was. Eg.: My Trip to British Virgin Islands

At the Trip Summary enter a short description of your trip. For example - just the anchorages or harbours of every day. You can enter up to 240 chars.

At the privacy settings you can decide who can view your trip journal and photos. You can choose between Anyone, Friends only or just you.

On the right side you can enter the starting harbour or marina of your trip. At the Name field enter the Name of your starting point.
To set the right location you can either enter the name of the harbour or marina in the address lookup field under the map and choose the right one out of the shown list. The list always comes up if TripSailor finds more than one place machting my search phrase.
Or you can enter the latitude and longitude if you click on the lat/lontab.
You always have the possibility to drag and drop the marker on the map with your mouse to the exact location.

After that just press the Create Trip button and your trip wil be created.

You can change all this things later in your "Trip Settings" if you would like to.
