Upload Videos to your Sailing Blog
You can upload your videos to your sailing blog by clicking on the link "Upload Videos" on the right side of your sailing blog.
Formats: TripSailor supports all common formats although to get the best results the following formats are recommended: FLV, MPEG-2, and MPEG-4
Insert a title and a short description of your video. Then choose the right video to upload by clicking on "Select File". Once you've selcted the right video just press the "Upload Video" button.
Depending on the size of your video and your internetconnection it can take a few minutes until your video is uploaded. The progress of the upload is shown with the red-progress bar.
NOTE: Please don't close the browser-window until your upload is complete!
Once your video is uploaded the video management view is opened automatically. There you see all of your already uploaded videos. The video you just uploaded shows just a white thumbnail with a camera on it as it takes a few minutes to generate. The status of your new uploaded video will show "analyze" for a view minutes. This is the time TripSailor needs to check the format, etc. ... After analyzing your video the status will change to "processing" for about 20 min. If TripSailor has done all the work - the status will show as "ready".
Post your videos to your Sailing Blog
To show your videos in a blog post, you have to click on the clapperboard icon (the icon right beside the spell-checker icon - most right). Clicking on this icon will open a pop-up showing all your videos. Just choose the video you would like to embed in you blog post by clicking on the name of the video.
Thats it - your video is embeded in you blog post!!! If you want you can add text and/or photos above or under the video....
