Windows Live Writer and TripSailor

TripSailor supports Windows Live Writer. Using Windows Live Writer enables off-line blogging with TripSailor.

Settings

To configure Windows Live Writer you need to enter a few settings.

Open your Windows Live Writer - Under the Weblog menu, click Add weblog account.

Select the type of blog account that you want to add. Choose "Another weblog service". Type the web address (just enter www.tripsailor.com ) of your blog home page, your user name, and password, and then click Next.

 

On the Type of weblog that you are using list choose Metaweblog API.

 

In the Remote posting URL for your weblog box, locate the angle brackets in the text string that appears. Replace the text in the angle brackets with the following information:

 

replace <hostname> with www.tripsailor.com

replace <mw-script> with xmlrpc/api

 

the URL after the http:// should finally look like this: www.tripsailor.com/xmlrpc/api

Click Next

 

if you have already more than one sailing blog on TripSailor - choose the one you would like to post to.

Click Next.

 

Note: Login with your Loginname NOT with your emailaddress
